2018 Bella Terra Blanc de Blanc

Tasting Notes: This Traditional Method Sparkling wine has a great mix of power, elegance, and complexity! On the nose, this wine is expressive and sexy, with aromas of green apple, Asian pear, orange white tea and chamomile. 

The palate is very well connected with the aromas delivering a fantastic sequence of bright acidity, energetic structure and soft but precise flavour definition. On the front-palate, the flavours include an array of green apple, candied lemon and ripe navel orange before moving to the superb softness of the mid-palate. The softness continues to be highlighted by the creaminess of the bubbles and the Champagne-like components of almond cookies and hazelnut, riper fruits like white peach and a hint of fresh ginger, sitting on a perfect weight and lees-aged complexity. The back-end of this wine is fresh and so well balanced with lip-smacking acidity. The great finish is highlighted by nectarine tarte tatin with hints of nutmeg and salted caramel. 

Food pairing: Smoked salmon or a creamy shrimp Alfredo
