We are very much looking forward to let pour friends in the Toronto area taste some of our finest wines.
This Friday September 28, 2012 at the Ritz Carlton at the Taste Ontario event PondView Winery will showcase a few wines we are very, very proud of.
They are all from our 2010 vintage which was just a superb vintage.  Our reds are jammy, fruity and intense.

2010 Cabernet Franc: Hand harvested first week of November, and aged in French and American barrels for 16 months. This wine is dark ruby in colour and very intense.  The aromas are of black currant, fig, black licorice and cloves.  The palate is full bodied blending flavours of blackberry, dark chocolate, nutmeg and mocha.  The tannins are firm and unapologetic.  The finish is definitely long and lingering. Enjoy it now or cellar it for 5– 7 years for a truly delicious experience.

2010 Barrel Femented Chardonnay: Our Barrel Fermented Barrel Aged Chardonnay is one of our newest addition to our Bella Terra series. Beautifully ripe Chardonnay from our 2010 vintage, was fermented and aged in French and American oak barrels for just 9 months. Resulting in a full body Chardonnay that will make your mouth water. It has a beautiful bouquet of vanilla, butterscotch, pear and baked apples. It is smooth and creamy with light acidity on the palate and a nice long buttery finish.
